About Thibault

Thibault Torzuoli is a French composer for stories.

In his young career, Thibault scored more than 50 projects, including Short and Feature Films, Animation, Documentaries, Series but also Circus Performances and Dance Ballets, showcasing his versatility and storytelling abilities.

His first feature film, the Belgian movie Bingo directed by Jean-François Boydens, won Best International feature Film at the Austin Film Festival. He continued collaborating with Belgian filmmakers, scoring Bière Amère by Julien Dewitte, which was screened at 20 festivals worldwide before being acquired by RTBF in 2023.

Thibault has also composed for TV documentaries including Oeil Pour Oeil and Éveil by Les Embobinés, Des Hêtres À La Cime by Marion Afriat, and La Cyclodyssée, which premiered in Paris in June 2024 before being screened internationally.

He also worked on numerous short films, Imbéciles Heureux by Clémentine Odion, Wachten Op Morgen by Cederic Thirion, Pour Ne Pas Me Perdre by Geoffrey Detant. And more recently, Si tu me pardonnes, by Korean filmmaker Nawoo Baek, and De l'importance d'avoir 20 ans et un scooter à Paris directed by Tanguy Malaterre.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with Honours from the ICMP London, and a Master of Music in Composing for Film & TV from Kingston University London, and is also a lecturer at 3IS Paris for their MFA in Recording & Music Production, and a guest lecturer at EICAR.

In 2024, he was selected to participate in the Third Character program of the Music & Cinema festival in Marseille, the Third Character program of the World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent and was the winner of the ECSA & OTICONS Film Music Business Mentoring Course for European Film Composers, coached by composer agent George Christopoulos.
